Dr. Rebecca Hohl

  • Orthodontics is an ever-evolving field of dentistry that feeds Dr. Hohl’s desire for growth and adds excitement in opportunities to keep learning. Along with the technical enjoyment of practicing orthodontics, Dr. Hohl also finds immense happiness in the relationships that are made with her patients and their families. The Hohl Team gets to embark on an amazing journey with our patients, and nothing is more rewarding than seeing how a new smile can impact their life.

    In her spare time, Dr. Hohl enjoys spending time with her four kids Jacob, Lauren, Jon, and Natalie, husband Erich, and her cat Milo, and dog Oskar. She stays busy attending her kids’ many activities, and enjoys traveling, biking, boating, and water/snow skiing.

    • Dr. Hohl is a part-time facility member at the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s College of Dentistry, teaching third year dental students and the orthodontic residents. She has received the Outstanding Teaching Award for part-time faculty as voted on by the dental students for 2015.

    • Dr. Hohl is a Diplomat of The American Board of Orthodontics which is the only orthodontic certifying board recognized by The American Dental Association and sponsored by The American Association of Orthodontics. Only one third of all U.S. orthodontists are certified by The American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Landon Peterson

  • Dr. Landon Peterson was raised in Osceola, Nebraska and enjoyed the aspects of small-town living while growing up. Dr. Peterson and his wife, Katelyn, have both lived in Lincoln for over 12 years. They were married in 2017 and were blessed with their first child, Callum, in November 2020. They have a 2-year old Cavapoo puppy named Izzy who is full of energy, loves chasing squirrels, and always keeps them on their toes. Although the small town roots will always linger, this family of four truly loves calling Lincoln “home.”

    When Dr. Peterson is not in the office, he enjoys remodeling the family’s home, playing golf, going to local farmers’ markets with his family, landscaping, and cheering on the Huskers.

Community Involvement

  • American Cancer Society—Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

    Making Strides Against Breast Cancer events raise awareness and money to save lives from breast cancer. The money raised are helping the American Cancer Society fund breast cancer research, 24/7 support, prevention and early detection initiatives, and more. Through the months of September and October, we encourage our patients to get involved with fundraising. For every pink shade of bands on his/her braces, retainers, or mouth guard a patient chooses, Dr. Hohl will make a $1 donation to the American Cancer Society—Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.

  • American Red Cross - Blood Drive

    The Red Cross provides relief and support to those in crisis. One of the major resources that the Red Cross focuses on providing is blood. Blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. Hohl Orthodontics happily organizes an on-site blood drive, with complimentary refreshments. We couldn’t be more proud of our community for consistently making this event such a success.

  • Cedars Holiday Gift Drive

    Cedars is a local organization that helps vulnerable children and youth find safe refuge and new beginnings. Every holiday sea- son, we host a gift drive for the children living at Cedars. The kids provide Cedars with their Christmas wish-list, and we provide some of that list for our team, patients, and their families to fulfill. It is truly such a joy to deliver so many gifts, as a team, to help bring some extra holiday cheer to kids in need.

  • Cornhusker State Games

    The Cornhusker State Games is an amateur sports festival, local to the state of Nebraska. We have such a fun time managing a booth at this event, where we provide refreshments and equipment for the athletes.

  • Pumpkin Run

    Organized through the Nebraska Sports Council, The Pumpkin Run is a 1-mile youth cross-country fun run, and is the largest run of its kind in the nation. We have so much fun managing a booth at this event each year, where we give away great prizes and race essentials.

  • Star City Shores Summer Splash

    This is a special yearly event where we get to show our patients just how much they mean to us. Our team and their families join our patients’ families and friends for summer fun at Star City Shores. This is a complimentary event, filled with treats and prize giveaways.
