Available Positions:

Orthodontic Assistant

Full-Time

As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will work closely with Dr. Hohl to provide high-quality care and assist in a variety of procedures to help create beautiful smiles. This role requires excellent clinical and communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to provide a positive experience for our patients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the orthodontist during patient procedures, including adjustments, fittings, and installations of appliances (braces, retainers, etc.)
  • Take diagnostic X-rays, photos, and impressions
  • Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment, and treatment areas for orthodontic procedures
  • Educate patients and parents on orthodontic care, appliance maintenance, and hygiene instructions
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments according to OSHA and CDC guidelines
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and maintain patient records
  • Collaborate with the orthodontist and administrative team to ensure a smooth workflow and excellent patient care


Qualifications:

  • Orthodontic or Dental Assistant certification (preferred)
  • X-ray certification
  • Previous experience in orthodontics or dental assisting is highly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a patient-first mentality
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment


Sterilization Coordinator

Full/Part-Time

As an Orthodontic Sterilization Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our practice maintains a clean and sterile environment. You will be responsible for the proper cleaning, sterilization, and maintenance of all dental instruments and equipment. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help us provide the best care for our patients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
  • Prepare and organize instruments for procedures, ensuring everything is in place for the orthodontic team.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized sterilization area.
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  • Support the orthodontic team as needed during patient procedures.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in dental sterilization or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience in a dental or healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and safety
