The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer events raise awareness and money to save lives from breast cancer. The money raised helps the American Cancer Society fund breast cancer research, 24/7 support, prevention and early detection initiatives, and more. Through the months of September and October, we encourage our patients to get involved with fundraising. Every time a patient selects a shade of pink for the bands on their braces, retainers, and mouthguards, Hohl Orthodontics will make a $1 donation to the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event.

The Red Cross provides relief and support to those in crisis. One of the major resources that the Red Cross focuses on providing is blood. Blood donors help patients of all ages. This includes accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. Hohl Orthodontics happily organizes an on-site blood drive with complimentary refreshments. We couldn’t be prouder of our community for consistently making this event such a success.

Cedars is a local organization that helps vulnerable children and youth find safe refuge and new beginnings. Every holiday season, we host a gift drive for the children living at Cedars. The kids provide Cedars with their Christmas wish list, and we provide some of that list for our team, patients, and their families to fulfill. It is truly such a joy to deliver so many gifts as a team. We strive to bring some extra holiday cheer to kids in need.

The Cornhusker State Games is an amateur sports festival local to the state of Nebraska. We have such a fun time managing a booth at this event. We provide refreshments and equipment for the athletes during the festival. Stop by this year to see us!

Organized through the Nebraska Sports Council, the Pumpkin Run is a 1-mile youth cross-country fun run. This is the largest run of its kind in the nation. We have so much fun managing a booth at this event each year, where we give away great prizes and race essentials.

This is a special yearly event where we get to show our patients just how much they mean to us. Our team and their families join our patients and their families and friends for summer fun at Star City Shores. This is a complimentary event, filled with treats and prize giveaways.
