Dr. Landon Peterson was raised in Osceola, Nebraska and enjoyed the aspects of small-town living while growing up. He moved to Lincoln in 2007 and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He graduated with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Animal Science with minors in Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Animal Biology. Dr. Peterson continued his educational journey at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. He graduated in 2018 with high distinction and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Following graduation, Dr. Peterson was accepted into the University of Nebraska Medical Center’s Orthodontic Residency Program where he received specialized training in early prevention, orthodontic diagnosis, and orthodontic treatment. He graduated in 2020 with his certificate of orthodontics and a master’s degree in Oral Biology.
Dr. Peterson and his wife, Katelyn, have both lived in Lincoln for over 12 years. They were married in 2017 and were blessed with their first child, Callum, in November 2020. They have a 2-year old Cavapoo puppy named Izzy who is full of energy, loves chasing squirrels, and always keeps them on their toes. Although the small town roots will always linger, this family of four truly loves calling Lincoln “home.”
When Dr. Peterson is not in the office, he enjoys remodeling the family’s home, playing golf, going to local farmers’ markets with his family, landscaping, and cheering on the Huskers.
